Hosts

You can define hosts as use them to represent servers or websites or any resource that can be monitored in different ways.

A host typically has the attributes that define a logical or physical resource. e.g. location, network, DNS name and IP address(es). When you create a monitor some of these attributes will be automatically populated as defaults.

Each host needs to be linked to a team for ownership, access control and notifications.

Monitor Location

The monitor location attribute acts as a default for the monitors created and linked to the host. Each monitor can still be configured to be run from any of the data centre locations available to your account.
